Nariño : Nariño presents a diverse geography and varied climate according to altitude : hot in The Plains Pacific and cold in the mountainous part , where he lives most of the population , situation that is repeated in North-South SENSE. The department is essentially Agricultural and Livestock .
Amazonas:It is the largest Colombian department in terms of land area and consists entirely of territory of the Amazon Rainforest. North borders the departments of Caquetá and Vaupés and northwest with the department of Putumayo. The rest of its territory is international border: to the east with Brazil and south and southeast with Peru.
Cali:The city is a major economic and industrial centers of Colombia , besides being the main urban , cultural , economic, industrial and agricultural center of the southwest of the country and the third nationwide.He is the director of Colombia Sports Center , highlighting the organization of major sporting events like the 1971 Pan American Games and the World Games 2013. It is a turn known as " The World Capital of Salsa "
Santa Marta:Santa Marta , is a monument to beauty , architecture and culture. Its warm climate and Caribbean atmosphere are synonymous with relaxation and fun . hot springs , crystal clear rivers , waterfalls , aquariums and lots of nature at your fingertips is what gives you this warm city . Region Andina: The Andean region is a natural region of Colombia made up the portion of the territory crossed by three northern branches of the Andes. The Western mountain ranges, Central and Eastern cross the country with the northeast southwest direction between the borders with Ecuador and Venezuela . The ridges give rise to numerous valleys, canyons , plateaus and river system whose main rivers are the Cauca and Magdalena.1 The region has 28,863,217 inhabitants (2005 ), is the most populated and economically active area of the country.
